2014-15 Model Schools Admission Process

• All the District Educational Officers in the State (except West Godavari and Hyderabad Districts) are informed that admissions of the Academic year 2014 - 15 with Classes VI & Intermediate 1st year with M.P.C, Bi.P.C., M.E.C. & C.E.C. groups and VII, VIII & IX class (vacant seats) will take place as per the schedule given below as per the guidelines contain in G.O.Ms.No.17 Education (SE.Prog.I) Dept., dt: 11.02.2013. Each class will be having a sanctioned strength of 80 students. For intermediate each group will be having 20 students. These institutions are co-educational and follow state syllabi with TELUGU as 1st language up to class X and as 2nd language in Intermediate course.

ORDER
:
The Commissioner & Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh,
Hyderabad, have requested the Government for release of 50% State Matching
Share of Rs. 2492.45 Lakhs undr the Recurring Grant Component in 2013-2014 as
the Gol have released 50% of CSS of Rs. 2492.45 lakhs vide ref 1
cited for
meeting the expenditure under the scheme of Model School Phase – I.
2. The Finance (ESE) Department, have issued Budget Release Order in the
reference 2

read above releasing an amount of Rs. 24,93,45000 (Rupees Twenty
Four Crores Ninety Three Lakhs Forty Five Thousand Only) as 50% State Matching
Share from the BE (Plan) 2013-2014 (B.R.O. Copy enclosed).
3. Accordingly, Government hereby accord administrative sanction to the
Commissioner & Director of School Educastion, A.P. Hyderabad to utilize the State
Matching Share of Rs. 24,93,45000 (Rupees Twenty Four Crores Ninety Three
Lakhs Forty Five Thousand Only) to meet the Recurring expenditure under Model
Schools Phase-I. The drawl and disbursement of funds shall be as indicated in the
B.R.O.
4. The Commissioner & Director of School Education, Andhra Pradesh,
Hyderabad shall take further necessary action accordingly.
5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (ESE) Department vide
their U.O. No. 001396/14/ESE/2014, Dt. 05/02/2014 and G.O. Rt. No. 292, Fin
(ESE) Department, Dt. 31.1.2014.

:The MHRD., G.O.I., have sanctioned 355 Model Schools for each
Economically Backward Blocks in the State with the total project cost of Rs.
412.09 Crores, under Phase – I. In pursuance of 75% of C.S.S. released by
the Government of India, the State Government have released 25% of
corresponding S.M.S. of Rs. 137,36,00,000/- from the B.E. 2012-13 as 1

instalment of Non Recurring Grant.
2. TheCommissioner & Director of School Education, Hyderabad, has
requested vide reference 1

and Final instalment of
Rs. 109,18,33,000 (Rupees One Hundred and Nine Crores Eighteen Lakhs
and Thirty Three Thousand Only) being 25% SMS from the B.E. 2013-14, as
the Government of India have already released 75% C.S.S. of Rs.
327,55,00,000 (Rupees Three Hundred and Twenty Seven Crores Fifty Five
Lakhs Only) towards 2

and final instalment of the Non Recurring Grant.
3. Accordingly, the Finance (ESE) Department, have issued Budget
Release Order in the reference 2

read above, for an amount of Rs.
109,18,33,000 (Rupees One Hundred and Nine Crores Eighteen Lakhs and
Thirty Three Thousand Only) under BE 2013-14 toward 25% SMS under the
Non Recurring component of Model Schools Phase – I.
4. Therefore, Government hereby accord administrative sanction to the
Commissioner & Director of School Education, A.P., Hyderabad to utilize Rs.
109,18,33,000 (Rupees One Hundred Nine Crores Eighteen Lakhs and Thirty
Three Thousand Only) released in the BRO vide ref 2

cited, towards
expenditure under Non Recurring Grant of Model School Phase- I. The drawl
and disbursement of the funds shall be as indicated in the BRO (enclosed
herewith).
5. The Commissioner & Director of School Education, A.P. Hyderabad
shall take further necessary action accordingly under intimation of the
expenditure and progress of the construction of the Model Schools–I, from
